Duties Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and food prep stations safely and efficiently Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment Assist with meal preparation, including ingredient handling, portioning, and assembling toppings for optimal flavor and presentation Adhere strictly to recipe guidelines while maintaining flexibility for special requests or dietary needs Support the team with food production during high-volume periods to meet customer demand promptly Maintain proper food handling techniques, including poaching, braising, grilling, and other cooking methods as needed Skills Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or food industry setting, especially in pizza or fine dining environments Strong knife skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in high-volume production settings Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and food handling standards Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude towards kitchen operations Join us as a Pizza Cook and bring your culinary passion to life!
