Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to specifications, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment. Your culinary skills and attention to safety standards will ensure every meal meets our high-quality standards and delights our guests. Duties Prepare ingredients through slicing, dicing, and portioning according to recipes and menu specifications Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, mixers, and food processors safely and effectively Follow recipe instructions precisely to ensure consistency and quality in every dish served Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment by performing regular cleaning duties Assist with menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation methods Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service Qualifications Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a culinary environment is preferred Knowledge of dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and food handling safety Familiarity with food industry safety standards, including proper sanitation and food safety management practices Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in meal presentation Experience with catering or restaurant operations enhances your suitability for this role Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with kitchen team members Demonstrated ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a meaningful impact!
