MUST have all day Sunday availability. Pay range is flexible and dependent on experience In this role, you will play a vital part in the kitchen, assisting with meal preparation and ensuring that our food meets the highest standards of quality and safety. If you have a love for cooking and a desire to work in the food industry, this position offers an excellent opportunity to grow your culinary skills in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items. Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from the head chef or kitchen manager. Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed during meal preparation and cooking. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment. Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and notifying management of any shortages. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the head chef or kitchen supervisor. Requirements Previous experience in a culinary role or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques in meal preparation.
