In this vital role, you will assist in preparing ingredients, following recipes meticulously, and ensuring all kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, slicing, and chopping according to established recipes and standards. Assist in assembling dishes and portioning food items for service, ensuring consistency and presentation quality. Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, ovens, and fryers safely and efficiently. Follow strict food safety protocols, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing. Support the kitchen team by communicating effectively with chefs and other staff to ensure timely meal preparation. Adhere to recipe instructions accurately while maintaining flexibility for menu changes or special requests. Experience Demonstrated food preparation skills within a restaurant or food service environment. Knowledge of food safety standards in production environments and proper food handling techniques. Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Experience with menu planning, meal prep, and catering is a plus. Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques to ensure precision and safety during prep work. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and maintain a smooth workflow. Pay:
