Discount Programs Regular Staff Appreciation Events Key Responsibilities:
Food Production:
Prepare and cook meals using standardized recipes and production sheets, ensuring every plate is attractive and delicious.
Kitchen Leadership:
Act as the supervisor in the absence of the manager. You will help supervise production employees and Dietary Assistants to ensure quality standards are met.
Safety & Compliance:
Take and record food temperatures, maintain refrigeration logs, and ensure all Department of Public Health (DPH) regulations are followed.
Operations:
Manage opening and closing procedures, receive food deliveries, and assist in stocking all prep and storage areas.
Quality Assurance:
Participate in the Critical Quality Insurance (CQI) process and taste-test food to ensure it meets our excellence standards.
Qualifications Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of related cooking experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of sanitary regulations and professional food handling techniques.
Reliability:
Ability to work independently, manage a team, and close the kitchen with high attention to detail. Why Join Mary Immaculate?
