Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Cook, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional food service and customer experiences. This energetic position combines the fast-paced environment of food preparation with the friendly interaction of cashiering, ensuring our guests receive prompt, friendly service while their orders are prepared with care. Whether managing transactions or crafting delicious meals, you'll be at the heart of our vibrant food industry operation, contributing to a lively atmosphere and ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are upheld. Duties Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash register operations, including processing cash, card payments, and managing cash handling procedures with precision Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, including basic food preparation and operating kitchen equipment Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and upselling additional products to enhance sales Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation practices Manage food service customer orders from start to finish using food industry best practices for order accuracy and timely delivery Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely while supporting overall food preparation activities in a quick service or fast-food setting Experience Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with high-volume environments Proven skills in food preparation, food safety management, and sanitation procedures within a restaurant or café setting Experience operating POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred but not required—training will be provided Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods Customer service experience that highlights effective communication, upselling techniques, and positive engagement with guests Basic math skills necessary for cash handling, processing transactions accurately, and managing sales totals Knowledge of operating kitchen equipment safely and maintaining a clean workspace in accordance with health regulations Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm for food service meets your talent for customer engagement.
