The right candidate will have a proven commitment to the hospitality industry, a desire to learn and share fun food trends with our community. Create Food that includes many cultures. We offer a great environment that fosters growth, and successful candidates will be eager for professional development and learning. Catering or high-volume cooking experience is helpful. This is a 12-month position that includes a generous benefits package and paid time off. Responsibilities & Qualifications Prepare food according to standardized recipes and techniques Maintain kitchen organization and workflow Knowledge of cooking techniques including batch cooking, sauté, braising, sous vide, soups, stocks and sauces Experience with high volume kitchen Catering experience Fine dining experience Understand kitchen protocol Understanding of time management Ability to work well in a team ServSafe certification a plus Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion and to serving a diverse, global community Commitment to the Miss Hall's School Mission and Core Values Research has shown that women, trans, non-binary, and BIPOC individuals often do not apply for jobs because they perceive their qualifications as falling short of the listed requirements, even when they may be sufficient. Pay range:
