This position is for an experienced cook who takes pride in craftsmanship, works efficiently under pressure, and can manage their station with minimal supervision. You'll be responsible for maintaining sourdough, prepping toppings, managing the oven, and ensuring a quality bake. Responsibilities Prepare and cook pizzas in our wood-fired oven with consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail. Maintain our sourdough and prepare dough for service. Complete opening and closing duties, including station setup and cleanup. Prepare ingredients and maintain prep levels to ensure the kitchen is ready for service. Monitor inventory, communicate shortages, and help maintain appropriate par levels. Follow recipes, portion standards, and food safety procedures. Maintain a clean, organized station throughout the shift. Communicate with teammates to keep service running smoothly and assist other stations when needed. Answer guest questions when appropriate and represent the restaurant in a friendly, professional manner. Requirements At least one year of pizza-making experience is preferred, with experience in a wood-fired oven considered a plus. We will also consider experienced cooks who have strong prep skills, a solid culinary foundation, and a genuine interest in learning our process. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities during busy service, and maintaining a high standard of quality from start to finish. Strong organization, time management, communication, and attention to detail are essential. This position is best suited for an experienced cook who takes pride in their work while contributing to a positive, team-oriented kitchen.
