Line Cook CarterQue BBQ is looking for a Line Cook to join our kitchen team! We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well with a team, and can keep up when things get busy. You don't need to be a culinary expert - we're happy to train the right person - but you do need to show up ready to work, follow directions, and care about putting out good food. As a Line Cook, you'll help with daily food prep, cooking, plating, and keeping the kitchen clean and organized. You'll work alongside the rest of our kitchen team to make sure orders go out quickly and consistently, especially during our busy lunch and dinner rushes. What You'll Do Prepare and cook food according to our recipes and standards Handle prep work including cutting, portioning, and stocking ingredients Work the grill, fryer, oven, and other kitchen equipment Keep your station clean, organized, and stocked throughout your shift Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures Communicate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams during service Help with larger prep jobs and catering orders when needed Work efficiently and stay calm during busy periods Help keep the overall kitchen running smoothly What We're Looking For Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right person Someone who is dependable and shows up ready to work Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to follow recipes and instructions Basic knife skills and willingness to learn Someone who takes pride in keeping their work area clean Availability to work evenings and weekends

Shifts Morning:

9:00 AM - 3:30

PM Evening:

3:00 PM - 9:00 PM Pay & Benefits Pay is based on experience.
