Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with precision and creativity. Your expertise in food handling, safety standards, and kitchen operations will ensure every plate served meets our high-quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills, work collaboratively with kitchen staff, and contribute to a vibrant dining experience for our guests. Duties Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes, standards, and safety guidelines Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors efficiently and safely Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking areas in compliance with health regulations Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation methods Follow food safety management protocols to ensure proper food handling and storage Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service Adhere strictly to recipe specifications and portion control to maintain consistency in every dish Experience Previous experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment is highly preferred Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and operating commercial kitchen equipment Knowledge of safety standards in food production and food handling practices Experience with dietary department procedures or dietary aide responsibilities is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with kitchen team members Culinary experience that includes knife skills, slicing techniques, and meal preparation expertise Familiarity with catering processes or large-scale food production is advantageous
Pay:
$15.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 38.0 per week
