Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals according to our recipes and guidelines. Your culinary expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our customers.Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Cook food according to recipes and guidelines, ensuring high quality and consistency
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals
- Assist with menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or needs to the kitchen manager
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant or food service establishment
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and equipment
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
