Rocky Knoll Country Club is looking for a dependable and efficient Short-Order Cook/Cashier to join our team! This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys preparing simple, high-quality pub-style food.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items quickly and efficiently using fryolators, a flat-top grill, and other kitchen equipment. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper fryer filtration and kitchen upkeep. Take food orders, process transactions, and provide excellent customer service at the register. Work independently as the sole cook in our small kitchen, managing multiple orders at once. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times. Assist with restocking supplies and maintaining inventory as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in short-order cooking or a similar role preferred. Familiarity with fryers, flat-top grills, and fryer filtration systems is a plus. Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure. Strong multitasking and time management skills. Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
