Immediately Job Description Welcome to Maine School Administrative District #75 Serving Maine's Midcoast communities of Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Harpswell, and Topsham, MSAD 75 is home to over 2,350 students and more than 600 faculty and staff members. MSAD 75 is seeking a Substitute Cooks to join our vibrant educational community.

PAY RATE

22.61/Hour

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Preparation of food, food portions and serving food to students, staff and visitors. Operate cash register. Notify the Food Service Director of supplies to be ordered. Clean up and maintain the kitchen and garbage collection area. Clean and maintain all food service equipment. Notify the Food Service Director of fixtures or equipment in need of repair or replacement. Receive and store supplies and maintain all storage areas. Submit reports within required timeframes to the Food Service Director; including, but not limited to, daily production reports. Follow applicable State and Federal regulations for the USDA Child Nutrition Program. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma, GED, or HiSET. Math skills; cash register experience preferred. Interpersonal skills; friendly and helpful manner. Ability to work in fast paced environment. Ability to meet physical requirements of the position. State of Maine Department of Education background check (CHRC) authorization. How to apply for CHRC/Certification

Hands/Arms/Finger Dexterity/Hand Gripping:

6-8 hours, dexterity of hand and fingers to operate a variety of kitchen equipment.
