Job Description
Kitchen Team Member Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a Kitchen Team Member and be part of a fast-paced and rewarding environment in the food industry. As a member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in food preparation, ensuring quality dishes are served to our customers.Duties:
- Grill cooks operate a flat top griddle and broiler while reading out tickets to the rest of the kitchen staff.
- Fry cooks prepare foods, bread and cook seafood and other foods while managing ins and outs of multiple fryers.
- Multitasking is a must.
- Must be able to learn and adapt quickly and efficiently.
- Assist in food preparation tasks, mixing side dishes, and plating RTE food.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely including knives and cooking appliances
- Collaborate with the team (with a good attitude) to ensure timely and accurate food production.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
- Follow food safety standards and procedures to uphold quality and freshness.
- Support by assisting in food setup in various methods.
Skills:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred (specifically for the grill cook)
- Knowledge of basic kitchen operations and food preparation techniques preferred
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions effectively
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Pay Rate is based on skill set, experience, and position.
