Line Cook - Seasonal

Job Summary The Goldenrod is a restaurant and candy store that has been in continuous operation since 1896. We are seeking a line cook to join our back-of-house team. We have a full-service 132-seat dining room, as well as an old-fashioned soda fountain. We serve all-day breakfast and diner-style food (i.e. sandwiches not fried food). This is a seasonal position. The restaurant is open from May 15 to October 12. Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and assemble menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and safety guidelines Maintain cleanliness and organization in an open kitchen, ensuring compliance with food safety and handling regulations Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail Work cooperatively with others in a team environment Help in other areas as need (food prep, soda fountain, etc.) Requirements Must be at least 18 years old Able to lift approximately 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays No experience necessary; we will train
