Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining or catering environments. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional meals to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times. Assist with menu planning and development as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary. Demonstrate excellent knife skills and proper food handling techniques. Experience Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred. Proven experience in restaurant or catering settings, particularly in fine dining establishments. Strong culinary skills with a focus on meal preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within the kitchen environment.
