Job Summary Oakland Hills Country Club is seeking a dependable and motivated Pantry Cook to join our culinary team. This position is responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality cold dishes, salads, sandwiches, appetizers, desserts, and garnishes while maintaining the club's standards for food quality, cleanliness, and member satisfaction. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Prepare and plate salads, cold appetizers, sandwiches, desserts, fruit displays, and other pantry menu items. Maintain quality, consistency, and presentation standards for all prepared dishes. Assist with food preparation and mise en place for daily service and special events. Properly store, label, and rotate food products according to food safety guidelines. Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs. Ensure workstation is clean, organized, and stocked throughout each shift. Follow all health department regulations, sanitation procedures, and club policies. Work collaboratively with cooks, chefs, and servers to ensure timely service. Assist with banquet and catering functions as needed. Perform opening and closing kitchen duties. Qualifications & Experience Previous experience as a Pantry Cook, Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar culinary position preferred. Experience in a country club, restaurant, hotel, banquet, or fine dining environment is a plus. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety, and sanitation practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special club events.
