Job Summary Oakland Hills Country Club, one of the nation's premier private clubs, is seeking a skilled and experienced Sauté Cook to join our exceptional culinary team. Our kitchens produce an elevated dining experience for an exclusive membership through à la carte dining, private events, wine dinners, and championship-level golf tournaments. This is an opportunity to work alongside talented chefs in a fast-paced, professional kitchen where quality, precision, and consistency are expected every day. What You'll Do Prepare and execute sauté station menu items with exceptional attention to detail. Maintain the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation. Execute dishes efficiently during high-volume lunch, dinner, banquet, and special event service. Follow standardized recipes while maintaining proper portioning and plating techniques. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation. Work collaboratively with the Executive Chef, Sous Chefs, and culinary team to deliver an exceptional member dining experience. Uphold all food safety and sanitation standards. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of sauté experience in fine dining, luxury hospitality, private clubs, or upscale restaurants is required. Strong understanding of classical cooking techniques and modern culinary practices. Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining impeccable quality. Excellent knife skills and station organization. Professional attitude with a strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. Culinary degree is a plus but not required.
