The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a focus on delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role is essential in ensuring that our menu items are prepared to perfection and served promptly, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling and storage of food items. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to management as necessary. Participate in catering events as required, providing high-quality food service for special occasions. Uphold fine dining standards in presentation and service, ensuring every dish meets our quality expectations. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is required; fine dining experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods (grilling, sautéing, baking, etc.). Experience with meal preparation, catering, and menu planning is highly desirable.
