Full Job Description Job Summary:
Work Schedule:
7AM to 3PM Looking for people who would like to work full time. We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team in the culinary department. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in accordance with our menu and food safety standards. Your expertise in food preparation and culinary techniques will contribute to the overall dining experience for our customers. This is a 7 AM to 3 PM shift, you areREQUIRED
to work Saturdays and Sundays.Duties:
- Work with a small team of line cooks to ensure accuracy and consistency of offered products
- Work close with management with creating new items
- Prep and cook dishes according to recipes and portion sizes
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure food safety
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food preparation
- Assist with menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
Skills:
- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Strong culinary skills, including proficiency in various cooking techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
