361 W 14 Mile Rd. Madison Heights, MI 48071 About Kimchi Box Kimchi Box is a fast-paced Korean-inspired restaurant focused on serving fresh, flavorful food in a fun and welcoming environment. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Line Cook to join our kitchen team. Job Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to Kimchi Box recipes and quality standards Complete daily food preparation and ensure ingredients are ready for service Operate kitchen equipment safely, including grills, fryers, stovetops, and other equipment Maintain consistent food quality, portion sizes, and presentation Work efficiently during busy service periods and manage multiple orders Keep your station stocked, organized, and clean throughout the shift Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and health & safety procedures Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties Communicate effectively with kitchen team members and front-of-house staff Help with general kitchen duties as needed What We're Looking For Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is an asset Line cook or prep cook experience is preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Reliable, punctual, and responsible Positive attitude and willingness to learn Able to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen duties Food Handler Certification is an asset Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends Why Join Kimchi Box?
