Responsible for food production. Ensures safe, quality food and service while operating within program guidelines.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: Other duties may be assigned. Computes and adjusts recipes and properly prepares food items in correct quantities. Understands and follows the regulations and goals of the Child Nutrition Program set forth on the State and Federal level. Follows oral and written instructions including but not limited to recipes, daily tasks, and department policies. Performs tasks involving moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds), carrying, pushing, pulling, standing for long periods and bending. Understands, knows, and practices the Health Department regulations. Prepares food in a safe, eye appealing and appetizing manner. Responsible for sanitation of work area and proper care of equipment. EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE
High School diploma required. Valid ServSafe certificate or the ability to pass the ServSafe exam.START DATE

: $15.76 per hour probationary; $16.12 per hour after probationary period ends Applications accepted until filled.
