Line Cook

Job Summary Sandbar & Grill is seeking a skilled and dependable Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team. Located in the heart of the community, we're a high-volume bar and restaurant serving lunch and dinner to locals, visitors, and business guests alike. This role demands sharp line skills, kitchen hustle, and a cool head under pressure—especially during night and weekend shifts, when we're at full throttle. Duties Prepare and cook menu items following established recipes and presentation standards Maintain a clean and organized station with proper food handling practices Operate kitchen equipment safely and confidently, including knives and cooking appliances Uphold food safety regulations and a hygienic work environment throughout every shift Assist in mentoring new staff in proper cooking techniques and kitchen procedures Qualifications Prior experience in a busy kitchen environment, especially on the line Solid understanding of food safety standards and kitchen protocols Confident in using knives and cooking equipment with precision and care Ability to move quickly and efficiently without compromising quality Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Passion for delivering consistently delicious food under pressure Availability for night and weekend shifts is required We care about the food we serve and the experience we provide.
