Tigg's Canteen Services is searching for a dependable, hardworking, and motivated Part-Time Lead Cook to join our team at the Muskegon Juvenile County Jail . We're looking for someone who brings integrity, strong character, teamwork, and a positive can-do attitude to the workplace. As a Lead Cook, you'll play an important role in keeping daily kitchen operations running smoothly. You'll help lead and support the food service team while assisting with the preparation of meals and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.Your responsibilities will include:
Leading, instructing, and assisting inmates in the kitchen. Preparing meals according to company recipes Food preparation and cooking Baking Kitchen clean-up Following company recipes, procedures, and standards Working effectively in a structured correctional environment Safely lifting and handling items weighing up to 50 pounds πWHAT WE OFFER

The right candidate should be someone who is dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable taking on a leadership role.Qualifications include:
Ability to work well in a structured correctional environment Ability to read and follow company recipes Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to lead, instruct, and assist with meal preparation Ability to assist with food preparation, baking, cooking, and clean-up Requirements include: High school diploma or equivalent Flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Flexibility to work varying days and hours between 9:30 AM and 6:30 PM Must be able to obtain clearance approval into the facility π‘NO EXPERIENCE?
NO PROBLEM! Previous food service or kitchen experience would be a plus, but we can train the right person! We're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
