Hospitality Services Group (HSG) is hiring an experienced Cook to join a busy healthcare food service team. If you know your way around a professional kitchen, can handle short-order cooking, follow recipes, and prepare food in larger batches, we want to hear from you! The current assignment is expected to continue through the end of August/beginning of September , with the potential to become a full-time opportunity for a strong performer.
What You'll Do:
Prepare food according to recipes and established standards Handle made-to-order tickets and short-order cooking Prepare burgers and other menu items Complete daily food prep Prepare large-batch items Prepare trays and replenish food as needed Maintain food quality and proper portions Keep your station clean and organized Follow food safety and sanitation standards
What We're Looking For:
Previous professional cooking experience
REQUIRED
Comfortable with short-order and batch cooking Able to read and follow recipes independently Fast, organized, and quality-focused Dependable and punctual Reliable transportation
