Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in food handling and meal preparation, with experience in a restaurant or catering environment. This role is crucial in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, providing high-quality meals to our guests. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the Kitchen Manager/Shift Leads Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for daily soups/weekly specials. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food storage and sanitation practices. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Follow all safety and health regulations related to food handling and preparation. Participate in catering events as required, ensuring high-quality service and presentation. Experience Previous experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook in a restaurant or catering setting is preferred. Knowledge of food handling techniques and safety regulations is essential. Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities is a plus. Strong culinary skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
