Dietary Cook

The Cedars of Austin is a senior housing campus offering Assisted Living, Memory Care and Independent Living to over 140 seniors in our hometown of Austin and surrounding communities. The Cedars is a 40 year strong family owned and operated business and we are proud of our commitment to provide quality care and housing to those who have served us so well. We are currently looking for a positive, energetic cook to join our Dietary team. As a cook you will be responsible for preparing fresh, nutritious and appetizing meals for our residents.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Following orders, standards, and regulations when preparing and serving meals.
• Cleaning tasks as necessary and ensuring the kitchen and work space is clean.
• Using appropriate tools when preparing/serving food and recording temperatures of the food.
• And most importantly
• providing excellent customer service and creating a great dining experience for our residents!
