Cook/Culinary Assistant On-Call

Chapel View , a Cassia community, is hiring an On-Call Cook/Culinary Assistant to join our team. This flexible, as-needed role is a great opportunity for someone looking to pick up extra hours while contributing to a positive dining experience for residents. As an On-Call Cook/Culinary Assistant , you will assist with meal preparation, cooking, serving, and kitchen clean-up while ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. You'll work alongside a supportive culinary team to provide nutritious, well-prepared meals in a warm and inviting setting. The ideal candidate is dependable, takes pride in their work, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Varied between 5:00 am - 8:00 pm

Wage Range:

$20.00 - $24.85 / per hour depending on experience

615 Minnetonka Mills Road, Hopkins, MN 55343 Cook/Culinary Assistant Responsibilities Deliver exceptional service to residents by providing fast, friendly and excellent customer service to all guests. Prepare and assist in cooking all meals to ensure adherence to recipes and quality standards Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents. Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents. Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department. Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms. Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs. Perform other duties as needed.

Cook/Culinary Assistant Qualifications:

1+ year of commercial cooking or food prep experience. Previous experience in a healthcare setting a plus. Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills. Selected candidates will be required to pass a background check.
