Duties Prepare and assemble a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality. Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and dough rollers safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas following food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests. Assist with food production tasks including dough preparation, topping assembly, braising, poaching, grilling, and food handling to support high-volume output. Follow recipe adherence meticulously while adapting to special dietary requests or modifications as needed. Support menu planning efforts by suggesting new pizza ideas or variations based on customer preferences and current food industry trends. Collaborate with team members during meal preparation and serving to ensure timely delivery of hot, fresh pizzas in a high-volume setting. Qualifications Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on pizza making or similar culinary roles. Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques such as braising, poaching, grilling, and meal preparation. Knowledge of food safety management practices including sanitizing procedures and proper food handling protocols. Experience operating kitchen equipment safely within a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with dietary aide practices, menu planning, and catering experience is a plus.
