Full Job Description Line Cook/Prep Cook Duties:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices and seasonings
• Assist in the preparation of dishes according to the recipe or instructions provided
• Cook food items on the line during service hours
• Ensure that all food items are cooked to the appropriate temperature and meet quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes and sanitizing kitchen surfaces
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook is preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
