Join the team at Mavericks Steak & Cocktails! We are currently looking to add some breakfast time cooks to our restaurant and Hilton hotel group! We are looking for 1-3 people to round out our morning time kitchen crew. Additional hours may be schedule in other day/night parts including assisting with our banquet team. (Can work around most schedules, however you must be available for some early mornings and weekends as needed.) Responsibilities Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment Breakfast cooking experience Must be able to reliably show up by as early as 5-530am Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.) Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen Ensure all food and other items are stored properly Be a team player and work with the rest of the kitchen staff to ensure quality dishes are being served to each and every guest Clean up duties as assigned after each shift and throughout the week to keep kitchen up to excellent level of cleanliness Stock inventory and keep items in an organized fashion to ensure first in, first out order Maintain a positive and professional working environment for the rest of the kitchen staff and FOH staffSkills Min 1 year cooking experience Ability to follow all sanitation procedures Ability to work independently and in a team setting Very good communication skills Qualifications
