Dietary Cook at Woodlands of Arnold Long Term Care and Assisted Living Community We are currently seeking a full-time cook to join our growing team

Dietary Cook Available Shift:

Day Shift - 11:30am-7p Full Time Mon-Fri plus every other weekend

Dietary Cook Summary:

Prepare meals for residents at meal times

Dietary Cook Qualifications:

Prior kitchen/cooking experience Serve Safe certification preferred High School diploma or GED is preferred

Dietary Cook Responsibilities:

Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items Work with health care staff to ensure appropriate nutrition for each resident. Help maintain accurate food inventories Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures Rotate stock items as per established procedures Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift Able to read and follow standardized recipes Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere Other responsibilities may be assigned.
