We take pride in fresh ingredients, made-to-order cooking, and fast, friendly service. We're looking for a dependable Line/Prep Cook to join our kitchen team and help us keep that standard on every plate. Position Summary The Line/Prep Cook is responsible for preparing ingredients and cooking menu items to order, following recipes and portion guidelines, and keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and up to health code standards during every shift. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients (chopping, breading, seasoning, portioning) ahead of and during service Cook and plate menu items to order, following recipes and presentation standards Monitor food quality and consistency, checking temperatures and freshness Stock and rotate ingredients using FIFO (first in, first out) practices Keep prep and cook stations clean and organized throughout the shift Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house staff to keep orders moving during rushes Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries as needed Perform opening/closing kitchen duties, including cleaning equipment and storage areas Qualifications Previous cook or kitchen prep experience preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen Food Handler's License/Certification required Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25-50 lbs Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Flexible availability, including [evenings/weekends/holidays] as needed This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their culinary skills while contributing to a vibrant team.
