Duties Prepare a variety of grilled items including meats, vegetables, and seafood according to established recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, and food prep stations safely and efficiently Ensure all food handling and safety procedures are followed to maintain sanitation standards and prevent cross-contamination Assist with menu planning by suggesting new grill recipes or modifications to enhance flavor profiles Maintain high-volume production levels while adhering to portion control and presentation standards Support food production activities by assisting with food prep tasks like marinating, seasoning, poaching, braising, and other cooking techniques Follow food safety sanitizing procedures diligently to uphold health regulations and cleanliness in the kitchen Skills Proven experience in food preparation, especially grilling and cooking techniques such as braising, poaching, and meal assembly Strong knife skills and familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely Background in dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus for understanding special dietary needs Experience with menu planning and recipe adherence to ensure consistency in every dish served Knowledge of food safety management practices to ensure compliance with sanitation standards Ability to work efficiently in high-volume environments while maintaining attention to detail Excellent food handling skills combined with restaurant or food service experience for delivering exceptional customer satisfaction Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a difference! Pay:
