Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Cook to join our team at Carlisle Bozeman. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals that meet dietary and culinary standards, ensuring a delightful dining experience for all guests. Your expertise in food preparation, safety, and presentation will contribute to creating a welcoming and efficient kitchen environment. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of meals following established recipes, dietary guidelines, and menu plans Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, braising pans, poaching tools, and food processors safely and efficiently Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to strict food safety and sanitizing protocols to prevent contamination Assist with menu planning by suggesting new dishes and adjusting recipes for dietary needs or special occasions Maintain high-volume food production standards while ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control Support dietary department operations by preparing specialized meals for residents or clients with specific dietary restrictions Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service and uphold quality standards during busy periods Skills Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or catering environment, with a focus on fine dining or high-volume production Strong knowledge of food safety management practices, including sanitizing procedures and safe food handling techniques Excellent knife skills and proficiency in cooking methods such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal assembly Ability to operate various kitchen equipment confidently and efficiently while maintaining safety standards Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and culinary innovation to enhance meal offerings Background in dietary aide roles or dietary department experience is highly desirable Exceptional attention to detail in food production, serving, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen environment Join us in delivering exceptional culinary experiences that nourish both body and spirit!
