Job Description

Responsibilities and Expectations:

This job description provides insights to new employees of what is expected of a Grill Cook in Express Market Stores. The list provided below is not all-inclusive and other duties may be asked to be performed within the convenience store industry. Grill Cook should report to the Store Manager for assistance and guidance.

Customer Service:

Greet and thank all customers in a timely and professional manner Provide customer service upon each visit Assist customers and provide suggestive selling on the latest store promotions Dress in a manner that aligns with Express Market standards

Job Specifications:

Ability to operate Point of Sale equipment within the stores Ability to work day, weekend, and holiday shifts Ability to set up and stock food station with necessary supplies Ability to prepare food as directed in specific time frame Comply with food and sanitation regulations and safety standards Previous deli experience preferred Ability to stay up-to-date with deli information (food waste, stock, etc.)
