Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, and food processors. Follow food safety standards meticulously, handling ingredients properly and maintaining a clean workspace. Maintain proper food handling procedures, including slicing techniques and portion control to minimize waste. Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff through clear communication to ensure smooth service flow. Support cleaning routines by sanitizing workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly to uphold hygiene standards. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred. Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking, and operating various kitchen equipment. Familiarity with safety standards in food production and food safety management practices. Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques for efficient meal prep. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and ensure timely service. Weekend hours a must.
