Full-Time or Part-Time Position Summary Cape Fear National Golf Course is seeking dependable and motivated Cooks to join our Food & Beverage team. We are currently hiring for both full-time and part-time positions. Prior kitchen experience is welcome but not required — we are willing to train the right candidates! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a team environment and takes pride in preparing quality food and providing a great experience for our members and guests. Our kitchen operates seven days a week, with the club opening at 11:00 a.m. daily and the kitchen closing at 8:00 p.m. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Assist with food preparation, including chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures Ensure food is prepared and presented consistently and in a timely manner Assist with stocking and maintaining kitchen supplies Work collaboratively with other kitchen and Food & Beverage team members Help with opening and closing kitchen duties as assigned Perform other duties as needed to support daily kitchen operations Qualifications No prior cooking experience required; training will be provided Positive attitude and willingness to learn Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment Ability to stand for extended periods and perform typical kitchen duties Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed Compensation & Schedule Starting pay: $17.00 per hour Full-time and part-time opportunities available Kitchen hours generally fall between 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Seven-day-a-week operation with scheduling based on business needs Cape Fear National Golf Course offers a welcoming team environment and an opportunity to learn and grow within the hospitality industry.
