Duration:
Approximately 6 weeks, with the potential for a longer-term assignment Elevate Workforce is currently seeking a dependable and experienced Cook for a food-service operation in Ellendale, ND. This position is scheduled to begin Monday, September 21st and is expected to last approximately 6 weeks, with the potential to extend beyond the initial assignment . The ideal candidate will have previous cooking or food-service experience, be comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, and take pride in preparing quality meals. Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and recipes Properly prepare, portion, and serve food Maintain appropriate food temperatures and follow food-safety procedures Keep cooking and preparation areas clean and organized Properly store and rotate food products Assist with general kitchen duties as needed Follow sanitation, health, and workplace safety requirements Work effectively with other kitchen and food-service staff Requirements Previous cooking or food-service experience preferred Knowledge of basic food preparation and kitchen safety Ability to follow recipes and instructions Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Dependable with reliable transportation Ability to stand for extended periods and perform normal kitchen-related lifting Food Handler Certification preferred but not required Must be willing to complete any food-safety training required by the customer or facility Compensation $18.00
