Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team! Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards while adhering to food safety regulations. Operate various kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, slicers, and knives with skill and safety awareness. Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient selection and preparation techniques to enhance dish quality. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing practices. Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation times and ensure timely service delivery. Follow food handling procedures diligently to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety management standards are met. Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining consistency and quality across all servings. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments demonstrating strong culinary skills and willingness to learn. Knowledge of dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is a plus. Proficiency in food preparation techniques including slicing, knife skills, and recipe adherence. Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Understanding of food safety standards in production, handling, and storage practices. Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with kitchen staff and front-of-house team. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
