Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full time Cashier/Cook to join our team on 2nd shift (2pm-10pm). In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will be responsible for handling transactions, assisting customers with their inquiries, helping cook and clean as needed and promoting products effectively within our Convenience Store environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed to enhance their shopping experience. Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately using the POS system. Cook and assist with kitchen as needed throughout the week. Engage in upselling and suggestive selling techniques to promote additional products and services. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area while ensuring compliance with store policies. Help with kitchen prep work as well as daily chores Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Experience Previous experience in a retail sales or grocery store environment is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele. Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus, along with basic math skills for handling transactions. A proactive approach to sales, including experience in upselling or product demonstrations, will be beneficial in this role.
