This part-time evening Cook position works every other Saturday and Sunday—perfect for someone looking to earn extra income while making a difference for our residents. Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and team-oriented Cook to join our culinary team on a part-time evening schedule. In this role, you will play a key part in preparing high-quality meals that enhance the daily experience of our residents. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines Ensure food is prepared in a timely, safe, and consistent manner Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards Assist with food prep, portioning, and plating as needed Collaborate with dietary aides and team members to ensure smooth service Monitor food supplies and communicate inventory needs Support special events, modified diets, and resident preferences when applicable Qualifications Previous cooking experience preferred (healthcare or senior living experience a plus) Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable attendance and flexibility to support evening/weekend needs What We Offer Competitive benefits package including low premiums, short-term disability, long-term disability, HSA contribution matching, 401(k) with company match, and more!
