Consistently present a positive, action-oriented approach to the daily challenges that we will face as a new operation in the heart of North Conway. Enthusiastically embrace the role you and your colleagues play in overcoming obstacles and working towards the expectation of excellence. Maintain cleanliness, organization and food safety of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment. Work towards maximizing efficiency and productivity in order to execute each menu item in a time sensitive manner. Establish a cooperative approach towards execution which is reinforced by consistent team-based communication that reinforces the shared goals of our kitchen team. Effective problem solving and the ability to communicate obstacles in a constructive manner. Represent the Saco River Brewery brand with pride and enthusiasm. Monitor food quality during preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards. Participate in the creation of special menu offerings while keeping in line with our commitments to food quality, cost controls and kitchen efficiency. Maintain the safe handling of knives and all kitchen equipment. Requirements Experience in a fast paced, time sensitive environment Strong skills in completing tasks and understanding how to do so in order of priority Ability to work efficiently under pressure Ability to communicate effectively and clearly A willingness to work with other towards shared goals with the knowledge that we achieve more working together than we do working alone. A passion for driving guest satisfaction Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
