Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine! In this vital role, you'll be the backbone of our kitchen, preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and ensuring every meal meets our high standards of quality and safety. Your energy and culinary skills will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests while supporting a collaborative kitchen environment. Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes following established recipes and menu specifications Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, slicers, and food processors Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety standards in production and handling Assist with meal preparation for service, ensuring timely delivery of quality dishes Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure safety standards are met Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining consistency and presentation Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks, manage timing, and ensure smooth operation during service Experience Previous experience in a food service environment, such as restaurant or catering experience Demonstrated knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques for various ingredients Experience in recipe adherence, and meal preparation within the food industry Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and serve customers efficiently
Pay:
$21.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
