Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications Ensure all food preparation meets safety and sanitation standards, adhering to food safety guidelines Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors and toppings to enhance customer satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper knife skills and food handling procedures Support food presentation and plating to ensure visually appealing dishes for dine-in or catering services Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional food service experiences in a timely manner Handle food preparation tasks efficiently during peak hours, ensuring consistent quality and taste Qualifications Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience preferred, with a strong understanding of food safety practices Experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within a restaurant or culinary setting Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and catering services is highly desirable Demonstrated knife skills and proficiency in food handling techniques required for efficient pizza assembly Fine dining or restaurant experience that highlights attention to detail and quality standards Ability to work quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role
