The David Burke Hospitality Management team opened a gorgeous, award winning restaurant in East Brunswick! We are fast paced

Work with all other cooks to produce food orders Ensure all cooking techniques and plate presentations are being followed Ensures that the kitchen is clean and compliant with all regulatory requirements for food handling, sanitation, employment law and safety Deliver world-class levels of exceptional and stylish cuisine within the confines of the established culinary style Be punctual, team player and motivated worker. Work with the Chef to ensure all dishes, silverware, glassware are cleaned and put away. Keep entire kitchen clean and sanitary throughout the shift. Be happy Experience At least three years of progressive experience in food preparation experience in different stations and positions in a kitchen including hot foods, cold foods, desserts Must be proficient in Breakfast, or willing to learn very fast, poached eggs, omlets, etc. Education Certificate of Sanitation from Serve Safe or local establishment OTHER Legally authorized to work in the United States Physically fit and agile; able to carry 40 pounds
Job Duties:
Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner Follow recipes and presentation specifications Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment Restock items as needed throughout the shift Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
