  • Full Time, 8 hours shifts, Sun.
  • Thurs.
10 am to 7 pm, Fri. & Sat. What you will be doing:
You'll be responsible for the preparation of all center meals in accordance with pre-planned menus in compliance with government and management directives.
Essential functions:
Assist in instructing cook helpers and work-based learning students in the safe, hygienic method of preparing and serving appetizing, eye-appealing meals. Maintain kitchen equipment in orderly workable condition, and ensure the work area is safe, clean, and sanitary at all times. Prepare foods as directed for special center functions, visitors and off-center assignments. Assist in cleaning assignments to assist in the cafeteria. Occasionally requires physical exertion to manually lift, move, pull push, or carry materials or objects, reaching, bending stooping or/and standing. Promote and support positive customer service through the facility.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Food service and one (1) year relevant experience preferred. Must obtain ServSafe certificate within 30 days of employment. A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
