This dynamic role involves guiding a team of dietary aides, ensuring food safety standards, and delivering exceptional food service experiences. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for culinary excellence, strong leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of food preparation and handling within a fast-paced environment. Join us to lead with enthusiasm, inspire your team, and create memorable dining experiences that delight every guest. This position is Sunday and Monday Mornings of Week one, Thursday and Saturday Mornings of Week two and Friday evenings of Week two.
Morning Shift:
5:30AM-1:30PM - Three days a week (rotating weekends) and as coverage
Evening Shift:
11:30PM-7:30PM - Every other Friday Duties Supervise daily food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly to ensure quality and consistency in all offerings Oversee dietary department operations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Maintain inventory levels of kitchen supplies and ingredients, minimizing waste while maximizing freshness Monitor kitchen workflow to optimize efficiency and uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety Requirements Proven experience in dietary or kitchen environments, preferably within fine dining or the food industry Strong background in meal preparation, and food service operations Demonstrated culinary experience with proficiency in cooking techniques and knife skills Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling practices Previous leadership experience as a dietary aide or in a supervisory role within a restaurant or catering setting Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Join us as a Lead Cook to make a meaningful impact through your culinary expertise!
