Overview We are seeking an experienced and passionate Line Cook The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards. This position requires a strong understanding of menu planning, food preparation, and handling techniques. you will maintain a clean and efficient kitchen environment. Responsibilities Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning, contributing creative ideas for seasonal dishes and specials. Oversee food preparation and ensure proper food handling practices are followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations. Train and mentor junior cooks and kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with ordering as needed. Participate in catering events as required, ensuring all meals meet dietary guidelines. Experience Proven experience as a cook in a high-volume kitchen or food industry setting. Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques, including cooking methods and food handling practices. Experience in menu planning is highly desirable. Familiarity with dietary requirements and catering services is a plus. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
