About the
Role:
The PM Cook plays a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences during evening service hours within the accommodation and food services industry. This position is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards. The PM Cook ensures that all food is prepared safely, efficiently, and in a timely manner to meet customer expectations and operational demands. Collaboration with kitchen staff and management is essential to maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen environment. Ultimately, the PM Cook contributes to the overall success of the food service operation by upholding high standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience working as a cook in a fast-paced food service environment, preferably during evening shifts. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper kitchen sanitation practices. Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately. Capability to work standing for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Culinary certification or formal training in food preparation. Experience working in accommodation or hospitality food service settings. Familiarity with inventory management and kitchen equipment operation. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team. Flexibility to work varied evening schedules including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines during evening shifts. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstations, including proper storage of ingredients and supplies. Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper handling and storage of food products. Collaborate with kitchen team members to coordinate food preparation and timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management to avoid shortages during service. Assist in training new kitchen staff and support continuous improvement initiatives within the kitchen. Adapt to menu changes and special dietary requests while maintaining quality and consistency.

Attention to detail and time management skills are essential to ensure food is prepared efficiently and served promptly during busy evening hours.
